Numbers will be down over the next while with many ACT members heading off to competitions interstate and overseas.

Best wishes to Steve, Donna and other members of the Australian Team heading off to South Africa to compete in the Australia Match and the SA Championships.

Seven more shooters will head of this week to the Tasmanian championships in Campbell Town and best wishes for a good shoot to Shaun, Shane, Cedric, Mark, Dennis Chris and Graham. 

Coming up, ACT members will represent at the Vic & SA Queens the NRAA F Class championships, Bisley in July and Canada in August, a busy period!

Shooting Australia

From the CEO of Shooting Australia an update and interesting article on the Whole of Sport Governance Review.

Shooting Australia of which the NRAA is a member is supported by the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee, the Australian Commonwealth Games Association and the Australian Paralympic Committee.

The objectives are to promote and coordinate responsible shooting sports, both competitive and recreational, within Australia; and to promote and coordinate participation in and organisation of international competitions.

ACT Ladies Team

In case you missed the AGM , there was a Special Announcement!!

For the FIRST TIME there will be an ACT Ladies Team participating in the NRAA Australian Ladies Teams Matches in November 2016, to be held on our own range.

The team includes: Donna Negus (Captain / Shooter); Helen Gilbert (Wind Coach); Liz Colquitt; Claire Maher; and Sharon Dowling; with Laura Brindley and Sandi Moore of NSW. Laura is presently studying and shooting in Canberra and Sandi, involved with the ladies teams. Thanks to NSW for their support in making the ACT ladies team possible.
