Time for a catchup

Where has July August and September gone?

We finished the 18/19 shooting year knowing our champions. Since then its like chasing rabbits with members going here, there and everywhere.

Early July we had our juniors in South Australia for a development camp and competing in the SA Championships. Mid July seen five members in the Australian team heading to Bisley, England for the 150th anniversary Queens meeting and teams matches.

August we had members at the QRA Queens at Belmont and a competition match with Goulburn. We finished August with the Champion of Champion matches held between Canberra and Bungedore champions.

In September our FTR team headed out to West Australia for the State teams competition and members attending local open prize meetings.

With all the results and feedback its worth taking the time to READ the more detailed summaries of events courtesy of our roving reporters.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to the ACT competitors who travel and represent the ACT at the many competitions and prize meetings.

Now through October we will be in the spotlight as we prepare for our ACT Championships in November.  Don’t forget to enter.

Bisley Bound

Best wishes to our five ACT members who have certainly earn’t their representation in the Australian Team competing in the 150th Imperial Meeting at Bisley, UK in July.

Donna Negus (Australian Palma 2019 World Championship Team), Shaun Wingrove (NSW Match Rifle championship winner), Chris Maher (Club Champion 2017/18) and
Graham Aitchison (Australian Veterans 2019 World Championship Team).
